Bangalore, Dec 16: The Christmas Dabazo 2012 was held at Christ the King Church School grounds on 16th December 2012, jointly organized by Konkan Catholic Association Mathikere and Konkani Catholic Sangh Yeshwantpur.

The programme started with Holy Mass at 10:30 AM celebrated by Rev. Fr. Jerome D'Souza. The celebrations began with the welcome note by KCS president Mr. Vincent Mendonca. Christmas Santa arrived at the scene and presented each of the children with chocolates and gifts. This was followed by the cutting of cake by Mr. Vincent Mendonca (President, KCS) and Mr. Naveen D'Souza (president, KCA).

Around 6 teams from Bangalore took part in the Carroll Singing competition. Sezari Association bagged the first prize while Konkani Catholic Association, Bangalore (KON-CAB) and Mudalapalya Konkani Association bagged the second and third prizes respectively. Cultural activities like singing, dancing and skits were performed. There were various games such as weighing the cake, counting the chocolates/ bananas and auction of cock/hen, housie, etc. Delicious Mangalorean food was available at the venue. Mr. Lionel D'Souza compered the program. Mr. Edwin Lobo proposed vote of thanks.
