Bangalore, Nov 16: Konkan Catholic Association, Bangalore organized a Youth Meet for Konkani speaking Catholic youths at Konkan Bhavan, Mathikere. The program started at 9:30 am with mass in Konkani, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumar D'Souza.

Ex-president of KCA, Mr. Gerald D'Souza Welcomed the gathering. Later the resource person of the day, Fr. Sunil took charge of the morning session. He presented a talk on various issues such as problems of working youth, family relationships, communication, Konkani culture and the impact of western culture and identity crisis. The talk was interleaved with action packed singing in Konkani.

Post noon session comprised of group discussions and debate on the issues faced by our community. At the end KCA president Mr. Anil Rego introduced the activities of the association and urged the gathered youths to play active role in the society. A youth committee was formed on this occasion, that will steer guide the future youth activities. Lionel D'Souza compeered the program. Ex-president of KCA Mr. Charles Gomes proposed vote of thanks.
