Bangalore, Dec 16, 2007: Konkan Catholic Association, Mathikere along with Konkan Catholic Sangh, Yashwanthpur and Catholic Konkani Association, Dasarahalli organized the annual Christmas function in style. Program started with a Holy mass in Konkani at 10:15 AM by Rev Fr. Santhosh Menezes at Christ the King Church Yeshwanthpur. After the mass the function started at 12:00 noon at School grounds. Chairman of the Dabazo committee Anthony Gonsalves welcomed the gathering.

Xmas Santa made the kids happy by giving them various gifts. The Carol singing competition was held, and 6 groups participated in the contest.

Many fun filled games and cultural activities kept the audience interested till the end. The program ended with a Baila dance where people, old and young, danced to the tune of Konkani songs and other filmy music.

About 800 people attended the function. Anil Rego (KCA President) proposed vote of thanks. Lionel D'Souza & Herald Aranha compeered the program.
