Bangalore, Dec 21, 2006: Konkan Catholic Association, Mathikere along with Konkan Catholic Sangh, Yashwanthpur and Catholic Konkani Association, Dasarahalli organized the annual Christmas function in style. Program started with a Holy mass in Konkani at 10:30 am by Rev Fr. Henry Alva at Christ the King Church Yeshwanthpur. After the mass the function started at 12:00 noon at School grounds. Chairman of the Dabazo committee Charles Gomes welcomed the gathering.

Santa had a tough time controlling his followers. Carol singing competition was held . As many as 6 groups participated in the contest.

Many fun filled games and cultural activities kept the audience interested till the end.

The dancing and music continued till evening where the people danced to the tune of " Dream tones" a popular music group in Bangalore. The audience went home tired but happy.

About 800 people attended the function. Lionel D'souza compeered the function.
